1988 244DL, B230F engine with Exhaust valve stuck open 200 1988

I have a stuck open exhaust valve on #4 of my B230F. Compression on 1,2,& 3 is 175psi. #4 is Zero. Pulled the rocker cover, turned the crank by hand to observe the #4 exhaust (I think, RH valve of the two?)depressor/tappet is sitting way lower than all its brethren and it has way too much gap when measuring with a feeler gauge.
So, does anyone have a suggestion on how to unstick this valve short of pulling the head?
Any ideas will be very much appreciated.
