need to know about v90 S90-V90

Hi, I own a '91 240 with 293k on it. I bought it with 156k for $2500. I have the muffler being held up by a bungy cord, the radio is shot, no a/c and the ABS light came on the other day. I got my money's worth out of this great vehicle. I have a great volvo mechanic who I will put this vast info question to, also. I found a '98 v90 luxury w/135k for $4200. It looks fantastic but we all know how that can go. I know the problems that happen w/240. I need to know what to expect with a v90 station wagon overall. I know it's a big question but I just have to ask. I don't have a lot of money to put into a car except what I pay for it. I believe this was a leased vehicle. No accidents.
