240 Classic 200

So was in the bone yard today looking for a few misc part for my 92 240 and i came across something interesting. What is so special about a 240 Classic Limited Edition No. 467/1600 other than it was the last production year of the 240? I saw nothing really different about it, other than the color (beautiful shade of green that i have never seen on a 240). I took a picture of the sticker inside the door with the month/year of manf. and vin # etc. Is there a way to verify that this is actually No. 467/1600? I took the badgin off the dash (removable square where an option gauge would go to the right of instrument panel) and put it in mine, just 'cuz i like it and was wondering if someone else had done this before me to the car I found it in. Some info on this would be great, such as why it deserves special badging and why it is numbered. Oh and $50 for a elec. fan, spare tire, and (very new looking) front corner lens is not a bad deal (imo).
