v90 vs. v70

My experience is better with RWD cars since all my instincts are with that type. Important to me when in hard situations like braking and cornering.

That may or may not make a difference to you or your son. In your place I would choose the V/90, since it is RWD, and the B6304 engine by 1998 had most all bugs worked out. (No engine. IMHO, is perfect.) Wife drives a 1998 S/90 and has not needed anything done to it outside of fair wear and tear.

I drive a 1997 965, which is a V/90 but one year earlier. With 208000 miles there are age-related problems but it is still a sweet ride.
