Cold stall & two power stages! 200 1993

Well, the old gal finally let Rachel down today after 1.5 trouble free years. About 5 blocks from a cold start, she says the car cut out completely in traffic while coasting to a stop. Didn't even notice until saw the dash lights on. It immediately restarted and made it home.

Troubleshooting, we found two ignition power stages. A "decoy" in the usual spot on the fender, and the one actually plugged in rattling around under the battery tray! Alarming, but I guess a red herring in this case, since the stall happened with a cold engine.

Main and pre-pump sound good. No codes stored. This is a late car with the positive post fuses instead of the blade fuse. My suspects are:

1) fuel pump relay
2) CPS
3) power stage (maybe I should just plug in a third and leave the others as sacrifices?)

Anything I should add to the list? It feels like one of those expensive problems. It's hard to prove anything innocent or guilty.

Thanks for any advice!
