Adjust safety brake 700

I just had my rotors and pads replaced and also the safety brake pads.

The safety brake worked well initially.
But after about a week it seems to be holding not so well - feels like it has worn in a little.

How do I adjust the safety brake?
Is it a nut behind the hand brake itself - accessed by removing the ashtray in the middle console?
