AC Compressor Question 700

I am about to order a replacement compressor for my 760 Turbo. FCP has two, one with charging ports on the back and one without. My car has been converted and has a port just of the dryer. I think it is the "low" side, but I don't see a "high" side port, except the one on the rear of the compressor.

The person doing the work said the one without ports on the rear is fine, do you all agree? Is there seldom a need for a "high" side port?

Also maybe he is going to install a high side port?

thanks,
Hawk
