67.5 Driveshaft in a 66? 120-130

I'm collecting parts for an M41 install, and I have some driveshafts for the later style with the big rubber donut center support (and the half-circle bracket/spring/washer).

I heard it can be done, but can't remember what it takes. Is as easy as drilling some holes for the center support bracket? Is it a better system?

Paul

I just looked at the two driveshafts I have. One is a 67.5 from a 122/M40 combination and one from a '74 144/M41. The rubber support is different size, so I guess I have to use the '67.5 122 rubber support/bracket, but can I use the front shaft from the 144?
