Extra outlets on new 240 radiator? 200

Hi Folks,

I just picked up a new Nissen radiator for my 240 and am wondering about the extra brass outlets. Two of them on the right side...

My stock Volvo radiator does not have these. My car is M47. Are the brass outlets for something auto tranny related?

Do I need to plug these outlets somehow?
