Should I remove tubo w/ exhst mnfld as a unit then separate? Will it clear? 700 1990

Hello,

I need to rebuild the Turbo in my 1990 740. As I'm disconnecting everything on the way in I got to wondering if it would be easier to remove the exhaust manifold with the tubo attached and then separate the two on the bench?

Has anyone gone this route? Did it clear everything lifting it out?

I would appreciate any and all pearls that I can gather from those who have done this job.
