240 turn signal relay ID (with pix) 200 1992

Just got the '92 245 running again ..nothing more than the #6 fuse blown ..or so it would appear.

Still running ..but the turn signals stopped working - again. This is what it did before it stopped last time.

To start ..someone please take a look at the picture. Are either of these relays the turn signal relay? Also note the small one has two wires coming from it that are unconnected ..a black male and an aqua/blue female.

Having seen the proximity I found them in before pulling them out from close to the fuse panel, these wires looked as if they might have been connected at one time.

Were they/should they be connected? Coming from the same relay..that would not seem to make sense !?!?

It is easy to see a number of red crimped add on connectors in the picture. This car had an add an Altec CD multi deck added (now removed), playing through the radio. Part of that install is behind the relays from those crimped leads. I know this has to be cleaned up ..and may have bearing on the problem.

Please help is you can. I want to nip this before it turns into a nightmare.

Thanks.
