Zymol and a glaze for over $1300!! 200 1989

I entered a post recently about possibly repainting our brick and had a lot of good replies. Wil740turbo’s reply suggested before I do the repaint maybe I try Zymol wax/cleaner. Well, I did, expensive, $12.99 for a “average” size bottle at Kragens, kinda blue gunky stuff you squeeze out of the bottle, BUT it did a great job. The hood and roof look much better.

I’ll still need to repaint, but maybe now I can hold off a bit longer. Others had suggestions about Maguar’s, and I do use their product, but it seems Zymol is also very good in my now small bit of experience. It seemed to clean up the paint a bit better than Maguar’s. It is suggested that after you use Zymol that you wax it again with a good carnauba wax, which I will also do, probably with Maguars carnauba wax. Zymol has quite few other products but my pocket book only goes so far. Haha.

Thanks to all who answered my post.

BTW, Zymol has a glaze, as I mentioned in the subject for this post, called "Atlantique" for $1358! That’s right, "One thousand three hundred and fifty eight dollars," for an 8 oz. jar! You put it on with your bare hands. I think I’ll get a case!! Uh-huh. :oÞ~~~
