Stupid quick question on door locks .. 200 1992

Is 'auto door lock' as one drives away a safety feature on my 245?

I could have swore that my 92 245 had automatic door locks ..that is - AS I DROVE AWAY - the doors would automatically lock. I also could have swore I read about in my user manual, but now I can't find it.

Recently after some housekeeping in the fuse box area (relating to a remote CD player install of old) it does NOT work ..AS IT DID (locking automatically) before. I am thinking a loose wire in the fuse box area was creating this situation.

Right? No?

Also a BONUS question ..if OK.
Should I be able to push down on my door lock and lock all the doors ..as it is in the wife's 940? My 240 will not do that.

Thanks ..
