flasher for halogen bulbs 120-130 1966

Yes, I have signal lights coming on front and back.

Maybe it isn't the flasher. Here is what I did: My blinker quit working for left, and I found there was a very slow, weak glow going on and off slowly at the front but only darkness at the back. So I went to replace the back bulb. The bulb I took out didn't look bad, but I decided to use the new halogen bulbs I got from IPD a few months ago. Then I found that the socket had lost its wire. So I located the wire (green) and I soldered a pop rivet onto the end. (Some wise person on here suggested that.) After that, I tested it, and I had signal lights working front and back. Then when I drove it, the dash indicator would stay on green for a long time, so I worked the signals by working the lever off and on...by then both directions were messing up, left and right. So I replaced the flasher with the NAPA generic mechanical one. And I have signals but they are slow and that guy behind me is coming up really fast.
