ECM for '90 780 fried

I need an ECM for my '90 Bertone. Looking for advice or pointer to a good used one - for the turbo+, obviously. Is there a rebuilder other than xemodex that would be a good choice for rebuild? I've been told 740 ECM is a no go - can anybody verify that? Amy thoughts welcome.
