APOLOGIES on Why Did They Do It That Way? 200

To all who responded to my question the other day, I apologize for any misunderstandings that occurred. My email program indicated any responses from any of you, could be replied directly to your email address as they have in the past. However, this has obviously not been true. I had no reason to believe that this thread would behave any different than previously. And apparently, the responses I thought I made, came instead to the thread totally empty. Again, I apologize. My error of assumption. If I could delete all the crappy mistakes and apparently empty replies I would certainly do so.

I read all your responses and thought I had responded directly to you. All of your comments and suggested remedies are very much appreciated and I have saved them for the time, soon I hope, when I will tackle the problem. My wife's 740 has a situation that demands my attention first, however.

Thanks to all for taking the time and effort to respond.

Sincerely,

Roger
