Easy way to Incapacitate a starter? 900

Sanity check I think I can just unplug the blue-green wire going to the coil. This is also the pink service data link for remote starting.

Reason. I am rope towing the car about two miles at 5:30AM Monday, no traffic, no hills, one light, two stop signs. Manifold off and open holes stuffed with rags. There is always a risk of someone kicking in the starter, like me, my son or the garage. I'll be in the front car and son in the back car. Lights will be on in the car while in tow and brake lights will be functional.

Humor:
Last time rope towing, a friend, a PhD physicist, who knows more about forces and motion than Newton, in the lead car wanted to tear off the front end. A simple miscalculation? I'll be in front car.
