*FIXED* Intermittent stall on 1991 240, all dash lights come on , then it starts right back up 200

Well, after wasting half my summer working on the 3 volvos that I keep running, I have finally found my stalling/no start problem on my 1991 240. After wasting at least 80 hours working on the car, and on the forums/search engines, it turned out to be a bad, one year old CPS!! Yes, it is a bougicord, not after market.

I am relieved, but still steamed, as I was checking everything BUT the CPS as it is only a year old, so I thought, surely, it can't be bad.

Funny, but I replaced the orig. CPS on my 1991 240 and my 1993 940 after reading all of the post about CPS failures. So, I actually replaced both of them with brand new bougicord CPS. Well, I reached for the two that I removed, to check to see if that was my problem, and both of the ORIG. ones are bad!! So, I took the "newer" one off my running (but stalling at idle, another story) 940. The 240 fired right up, and kept running. I wiggled the wire to the CPS while running, and it kept running.
I guess I learned something from this. Don't "assume" that a part is good, even if it is almost new.....

Thanks to everyone for your patience with me. I am not a quitter.
