My b 20 445 still won't start. Ignition problem 444-544 1957

My car wouldn't start several days ago. I think I determined it was an ignition problem. I'm running a '75 electronic ignition. I swapped out the distributor and the control module with spares I had on hand (but untested). No change. I got back to it today and it would initially fire for a few farts and then nothing. I used an inline spark test light and it showed consistent results. Then I checked the voltage at the coil + terminal and got the same thing, that is, after the car sits for a bit and then I turn on the ignition, there is full voltage, but it quickly drops to nothing. I'm thinking this should be simple, since the car has been running fine for a couple years, but I don't really know what to suspect.

Thanks in advance,
Buz
