As you guys may remember this past month or two, I've posted quite a bit regarding my B20's internal rattling, timing, and carb issues. Now I wanna say thanks to Rhys for rebuilding me an awesome set of carbs that I can now enjoy, leading to big thanks to George Downs for pointing me the right direction to carb pop issues (worn exhaust lobe), Dave (Volvo From Heck) and others for helping me solve my timing issues, and Chris Horn for being of local help, as well as countless other members who've chimed in and offered suggestions. Because of you all, I was able to track down my issue to being a bad cam, a worn exhaust cam lobe on the rear cylinder, as well as a partial wear on my 2nd cylinder's exhaust cam lobe from the front, and because of these things, my car was obviously hurtin'.

This weekend, I've inpected my engine, and have replaced everything cam related: went with "D" cam as suggested (which I am enjoying now), lifters, timing gear, retainer, etc, and my previous problems went away. No more rattling, no more pops, no more timing issues, and no more carb issues.

I do want to say sorry to Simplesimon, as he asked me to do a step-by-step followthrough but I was unable to, because when I get started on a project, I don't like to take time to take pictures and what-not, as I'm what would be considered impatient and just wantin' to get the job done. However, if you need help, please do not hesitate to ask me or anyone else, I can surely help!

All in all, the car now runs very good, very peppy, and quite honestly, better than it ever had during my ownership!

Thank you all. The BB is surely a lot better than some of the other tech forums I've used for other cars. Not once have I seen anyone say "SEARCH" even though I've always searched for possible help in previous posts before asking a question. I've wanted to say to the people on those other forums: "Look guys, I'm 34yrs old and know how the function works. I'm not stupid. You all (who in reality are teens and twenty-somethings) talk to me like I'm a kid." But I never did because it wouldn't do any good.
