82 Dash Gas Gauge Reading LOW 200 1982

The Dash Gas Gauge is reading low in my 1982 240.
When the Tank is completely FULL the Gas Gauge is showing a little less then 3/4.

Is there a best way to make an adjustment either to the Dash Gas Gauge or to the Sending Unit in the tank?

Can I adjust either the Dash Gas Gauge or the Sending Unit in the tank directly by taking one or the other of them out and making the adjustment?

Or,is there an electronic adjustment in the the dash that can be done?
