Wiper motor from IPD 200

Has anyone had trouble with the wiper motor offered bu IPD? I thought my OEM motor was sluggish on my 93 245. I swaped out motors and i made it worse. Wipers before had all speeds before just not with enough pep. Now wipers have one speed and that is a sluggish grind. Should i just chalk it up to a bad motor and swap?
