70' 1800e 1800 1970

Just a quick addendum to what others said...

180k is quite a lot of miles for an 1800 (Yea, I know... don't go talking Irv)
If it's been well cared for/restored, sure. 180k is nothing. But service records would be nice.

Sounds to me like you're familiar with the rust issues... look carefully, none the less. That is, as others said, the biggest issue.

As for the black/red combo... pretty sure that was likely an offered combo, and it's a lovely one indeed. Though honestly, every '70 I've seen had black leather seats. But I sure as hell ain't seen them all, so I don't know. Again though, don't count on original paint and interior on a car with 180k miles.

$3700 can be a totally fair price for a good looking, good driving 1800E. It's one of the most desirable years in my opinion. $3700 ain't gonna get you a show car. An inspection by a qualified mechanic would be money well spent...

Hope it's great, hope you fall in love and give the car a good home for years to come!
