Timing Question - No Start - HELP!?!?!?! 120-130 1967

Turn the engine to 10 BTDC, or whatever you want the static timing to be.

Verify that you have some slack in both front rockers, and that the distributor rotor is pointing to the front plug wire. If you have slack in both back rockers and it's pointing to the #1 plug, or if it points to #4 plug with slack in the front rockers, the distributor drive gear is installed 180 degrees out (this is a very easy trap to fall into).

If this is all correct, hook a timing light onto #1 plug wire, crank the engine, and see what the timing is. Adjust accordingly.
