See photo below. I'm not sure what car is shown, but the Power Stage will be on the left side inner fender, up towards the headlight. If you replace it, the new one should be bedded in fresh heatsink paste after cleaning off the heatsink surface.
I think Radio Shack has the paste/compound. Or try googling for it.

NOTE: Ignore my post yesterday on the RSR. I overlooked your comment that the coil was getting voltage like it should. That makes the PS a prime suspect.
