Nice looking aftermarket radio for 940? 900

Hi,
My wife's radio in her 1993 940 Turbo needs to be replaced. The amplifier is starting to die. I replaced the radio with an aftermarket unit, but the look of the installation was very ugly and my wife insisted the old radio be re-installed. I had purchaed the radio from Crutchfield and they included installation hardware that made the radio stick out into the interior - not recessed like the original radio. Is there alternative mounting hardware that looks better or are there radios that fit better in 940?
