16 Valve ramblings 200 1991

I am getting very close to doing a twin cam head installation on my daily driver 245. Last weekend was the trans swap and this week I'm putting together the parts list for the rest. I have noted that early twin cams use the 571 ECU, later ones the 928, but I can't find anything to tell me what the difference is. It would appear that neither the early or late twin cams have cold start injectors. Don't know if the later 928 cars have cold start and/or EGR. Can anyone shed any light on these two fuel ECUs? I know later 2.4 cars did away with the cold start. My car is 3.1 with a 572 ECU and I'm also considering just leaving that system in place.

Thanks,
DS
