No spark coming out of the coil 700 1991

I see you fixed your problem with a power stage, but wanted to respond.

On earlier models - through the 1980s at least - the tach wire connected to the negative side of the coil. The usual configuration was one wire into the positive side of the coil and two wires out the ground side - one to the power stage and one to the tach. On same later models, and I'm not sure when the change took place, the tach wire moved over to the power stage. Same signal, different end of the circuit.

Like I said, it's a longshot, but a really easy test when nothing else is showing up.
