Stall on start up problem 700 1987

Without smoke, Vac leaks cannot be seen. They can occasionally be heard or felt, but the best bet is to use any of the following to track it down with the engine running and warm:

Misting water around all and place air can leak
using an unlit propane torch to check all know leak points
WD40 or similar used in the same way as the water or propane

LH systems are less prone to problems due to vac leaks but they still have them.

Alekat is probably on the right track, though.

Mike
