I would bet you $5 (the likely cost of said part) that it is a stock item. Take it to a good parts store, preferable one that knows its way around an air-cooled VW or Porsche, and they will have one in the back. I know those shops are a dying breed but they are still out there.

Now if it was self-cancelling BMW (motorcycle) airhead 5-prong flasher, that would be a different story.
