Help identify my overdrive, and decide what to do with it. 120-130

What malloy said, slam it in there, I have a J type the only thing I have ever done with it is change the oil, clean the strainer...not even the o rings...works a charm, smooth shift. It is easy to get bogged down in the deatils of a quality overhaul, but this tranny/od is so tough I would leave it alone unless there is a problem Besides it is very easy to pull the tranny if there is a problem...unlike FWD cars often are. Congrats on the engagement, life will be getting complicated......good thing you have a nice simple Volvo.
