Help identify my overdrive, and decide what to do with it. 120-130

Tim;

My congrats also...I don't have much additional mechanical info/advice beyond the good info already been given, but on the electrical side, you do have a number of options...from the absolutely simplest switch energizing the solenoid by way of 4th gear sensor switch (which brings with it "Unwanted Reactivation" when shifting out and back into 4th gear), to the most complicated momentary switch triggering a 240 latching relay with no "Unwanted Reactivation".

I've tried to explain each of the various OD control circuits as well as the pulling current/holding current trick of the solenoid which Duane alluded to here: http://www.sw-em.com/OD_Retrofitting.htm#OD_Solenoid_Notes

Cheers from Connecticut!
