Horns 1800 1966

Your post has made me curious and maybe motivated enough to dig out an original owner's manual I have buried somewhere -- to see if those cars actually had two horn settings. 1800 owners will chime (pun intended) in I'm sure with the real scoop. Many European cars run two horns--one is on key (musically speaking), the other off key--the result is a noise you can't ignore. I owned a 1960 Renault Dauphine that did actually have two horn settings controlled with a switch---City/Country. -- Dave
