weird issue with my 240 dl wagon 200

hi everyone.

i bought a 1990 240 DL wagon a few months ago and I noticed, that as soon as the engine warms up, it starts feeling really warm even hot inside the car too. the warmer the engine gets the warmer it feels inside the car. i could feel that there is a source of heat somewhere. i checked the heater and it is not on. the heat is definitely coming from the engine.

i asked many friends who drive bricks and they all asked me to check the heater but it is not the heater. i am positive.

the question is, how do i solve this problem? i will probably have to take it to the shop. but still i would like to know what is causing it?

thanks in advance.
