Hood keeps coming up 140-160

Several things happen in addition to what Schnertz mentione. For example someone might
have inadvertantly adjusted the rubber pads at the front corners of the hood to keep it
from coming down far enough in the center to fully latch. And wear in the latch gives
a bit of slop which may prevent the center dart from going all the way past the latch point.
If the hood seems to fit right when pushed down fairly hard, undo the big pressed hex nut
around the dart and unscrew the dart maybe one turn, then tighten the nut again.
Also note that if the hood and latch are misaligned it will keep it from latching so
you may need to either adjust the hood or the latch position.
