Tail lights Question, my answer 200

Steve -

Pleased to help. Both my 1986 and 1988 244 GL's worked as I said, each car having two rear fog lights. I cannot recall the year in which the right rear was dropped - to avoid having a following driver think you are riding the brakes. 1989 or 1990?

The rear fog lights were a factory thing, front fog lights were accessory items to be ordered on a new car. I am not sure of what you reference by "front splitter", but it seems unimportant right now, anyway.

There may be some Volvo Service Manual Electrical Wiring Diagrams available for your model. I have the ones for 1988 240 and the 960/S/90. Not cheap but very good. Call Ken Cook Publishing 1-800-25-VOLVO and ask.

Regards,

Bob
