Rear control arm bushings 200

Being in the middle of a house building project, I haven't had the time or workspace to replace the bushings in the rear control arms on my 240. Instead, I dropped them off at my local machine shop. Upon picking them up today, I noticed that the bushings in the upper control arms had been installed with the "gaps" in the rubber portion of the bushings in random locations. One arm had one bushing with the solid rubber portion in line with the control arm at one end, but the gap rotated 60 degrees at the other end. The other control arm had the gaps more or less in line with the control arm. I do not know how the original bushings lined up.

If this were one of my other cars, I would have handed them back to the machinist and told him to line everything up the same. Being my brick doesn't handle as finely as my BMW, I'm thinking it won't be an issue. Or will it?

Do the upper control arm bushings need to line up a certain way?
