intermitant no start symptom like a dead battery. 200 1993

240 DL, starts normally for months, battery 6 mo old, tested fine, charging fine. One day, put key in and click, solenoid sounds like it is engaging but doesn't crank at all. Put in neutral, same thing turn key and "click". Used jumper cable from wife's car, just touch jumper to the battery terminal and started right up. Started fine for next 5 or so starts then same again. Use jumper cable and started instantly. Don't know what is stopping the starter from acting normal.

Any insight is much appreciated.
