Can an old starter from an 86 work for a 90? 200

I pulled the starter from my parts car. Its not the gear reduction starter with the smaller body size. Wondering if it will work for my 90.

After 4 hours of attempting to remove the starter bolts I got the top one but the bottom won't budge. The 86 starter came out with no issues. I'm guessing someone removed the bottom bolt sometime in the past and found they couldn't remove the top one so they over tightened the bottom bolt. I've found a few too many bolts on this car I got early this year being over tightened.
