Clutch problems after sitting all winter 1800

Hello,
I have a 71 p1800e which was running fine last fall. I've had it sitting in the garage since, starting it up once a month or so but havent drive it. This past month I went to start it and noticed it wouldnt go into gear when started. With the engine off I can move through the gears with the clutch in no problem.
The clutch cable is fine, the transmission mount is sagging a bit so I put a jack under it and raised it a few millimeters each time and then tried with the engine running to see if I could get it into gear. Nope....
Any suggestions? not sure where to start looking unless its an internal clutch spring pressure plate problem. But why would that just go all on its own while sitting?

Thanks in advance
Gord
