a/c not cold -1993 240 r134 200

OK- This summer added freon about a month ago-nice and cold. Worked great!
Then Friday turned on A/C and no cold air? When I got home placed gage on lowside it was in the green- or fully charged. Read somewhere to check pressostat switch. (located on the acumulator (aluminum can next to firewall passenger side) It has an electrical connection. Had A/C off ignition off, unplugged and then placed a jumper wire between two connection on the plug.
Turned ignition on started car; then turned a/c switch on at dash. I could here the compressor kick on once. However, it felt a little less cool than the outside temp. not ice cold like it was previously. I ordered a new pressostat switch. Also the A/c dashboard toggle switch does not lihgt up (blue color) like it used to. Checked the clutch on compressor and it spun freely.

Any thoughts appreciated.
