Does it do this with the AMM disconnected?



Have you tried another fuel relay?


Does your 556 have a mustard label? If so it is prone to the same failures (no ground to the ECU/Fuel relay) as the infamous pink 561.
Try providing a ground to the blue/green wire of the fuel relay, if it runs the ECU is the problem.

Other ECU's 556 white label and 933 will also control EGR.
