Clutch problems after sitting all winter 1800

+1 to the freeing up methods. When you run it when stored this winter use the clutch. If you can't run it round the block, which also helps keep the calipers from seizing up, a couple of feet back and forth in the garage will keep the rust at bay. A couple of good wedges under the front wheel will allow you to slip the clutch a bit more in a forward gear if you can manage that. If you store it for many months, having it up on jack stands helps stop the tyres flat spotting but will also allow you to gently/carefully run the car through the gears using the clutch. Only do this if the car is safely supported and you do it at your own risk!
