AMM plug removed, now what? 200 1984

So I guess I thought I knew more about adjusting the AMM than I actually do.

The only thing that I'm really interested in is do I connect the LED to ground or to +12v? I thought it went Pink lead->LED->Ground.

Also, should it be set and checked at idle speeds or at multiple engine speeds?

I could probably figure out these things, but searching is getting me nowhere and I'd have to start logic'ing these things out, which seems less reliable than asking people who already know.

Cheers
