765ti, tranny fluid in coolant and vice versa............ 700 1989

89 765ti, 225k miles, auto tranny..... Drove it back and forth to Cape Cod last weekend from NY, did fine but at the Cape I checked the tranny fluid level for the heck of it and had none registering on the dipstick, added 3 qts and got back home with the car no problem, although I seemed to smell tranny fluid occasionally. Found some leakage on the driveway today and found coolant in the tranny and what appears to be fluid in the overflow.... Is my radiator bad, will this kill my tranny, if the rad is swapped out will the tranny need flushing, Just got the car about a month ago, decent shape overall... Ant help appreciated............ Thanks, Tom
