Preferable ignition systems for B18's and B20's 444-544

Greetings.

I am building an unstroked, bored (2.174) '75 B20F with ported head. It came with a Saab EFI system and a custom harness (anyone want this?) but I'm choosing to use the aluminum intake from my B18 and run dual carbs. I'd really like to reuse the ignition system from the B18 on the B20 project because I know it works well together, I'm happy with it, and I'm more interested in street performance than hitting the track ( it's a Bosch blue coil, Bosch ignition switch, and pertronix-upgraded distributor installed in an otherwise-stock B18 B). The B20 currently runs the stock electronic distributor which is more difficult to repair (although it works fine right now) and has more moving parts, therefore is more likely to break.

Is there any reason I need to rethink this logic?

Also, I have a box full of Bosch distributors and am wondering if there is a particular one (based on parts number) that has proven to be more durable and is therefore a preferable candidate for this project.

By the way, you guys rock. I have done my due diligence in researching answers to my own questions here, but some answers do not yet exist online. It is a real blessing to be able to tap into the wisdom of people who've been playing with these motors for a lot longer than I. I'm a three-year-old Chevy 350 convert (no, I don't want to talk about it) and am hooked for life on vintage bricks.

Thanks,
Ry
