A whole new clutch issue (85 245 200 1985

I stopped by IPD today, and made an appointment to have them look at my car.

And as I described the issue, one of the mechanics felt it was a drive line issue. Hopefully that's it.

But on the way home, I noticed a whole NEW problem.

If I'm going fast (highway speeds) and I put the gas pedal down more to go faster, the RPMs will rise and the car doesn't speed up. So I tried to test it for clutch issues otherwise.

I shifted into 4th gear going 35, wasn't any different then any other time. In fact, I shifted into 4th going 20, and sped UP to 45 and it didn't show any unusual signs. There is no grinding noises, or anything of the short.

Any suggestions?
