940 Flame Trap Riddle

I have a steady oil leak and need to replace the flame trap on my 94 940 non-turbo.

Unlike my 87 740, I can't even SEE the housing or the 2 hoses that attach to it.

Pointing a flashlight to where I think it SHOULD be, I'm not seeing anything like it.

It looks like top parts will have to come off to reach this sucker, since I don't have a 3-year old's arms and hands!

Could someone please list the easiest step-by-step procedure? I have the time to put into this, so I'm not looking for a short-cut, just the best approach.

This is my wife's car, and with her busy schedule, the last thing I want to do is accidentally break or snap off any parts/hoses.

Don't need any photos, but if you happen to have any, that would be sweet!
