Thanks Derek, while old Volvos and parts are thin on the ground in NZ fortunately I have all the heavy parts. I did wonder about an HIF, its not a carb I am familiar with but SU's of any flavour are easily got here. Do you have any idea which British car would have a HIF 44 which suits the the Volvo manifold with regard to linkages, or is it a matter of transfering them from a HS6?
