Thinking about selling or trading my 142e Testing the waters, to see if anybody is looking for a pretty good car to restore. Very original. Has a list of needs but very far from a bucket of parts, still driven daily, Has good tags. Original b20e motor that runs and has not been modified. Needs a working windshield wiper motor( comes with two cores that have running motors but have gears that slip). interior is rough but all there, needs a repaint, also could use a new steering rod on the passengers side, pulls a little. (part is about $40.00). Comes with a pair of studs on rims for the rear, complete set of chains. misc box of parts, extra heater core. and heater blower, although I had the one in it rebuilt and works great. Kenwood stereo. New rear muffler, timing gear, front and rear main seals and clutch. Comes with receipts of parts and labor since I took ownership. Car was purchased privately from the third owner back in 2008, clear title. Remember this is a 1971 this car needs someone that can tinker.
I do not need to sell this other than I could use the space. If I don't get any respectable offers then I will hold on to this piece of Volvo history. For those that know a little about the 142e, you know this car is getting to be one of the more rare Volvo's out on the road. I just don't have the time this car needs and would like it to go into the proper hands.
